Grand Canyon Snowmobile Tour

The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is 20 miles long and more than 1000 feet deep, making it a focal point for many visitors to Yellowstone National Park. Grand Canyon Snowmobile Tour In winter, many of Yellowstone’s big game animals come down into the lower warm valleys for food and shelter, giving you the opportunity to view these magnificent animals in their natural habitat. Our tour will follow the Yellowstone river as it cuts through granite fissures, creating the spectacular Yellowstone Falls, documented by artists such as Thomas Moran and Ansel Adams.

Grand Canyon Snowmobile Tour Details

You will be picked up between 6:00am and 7:00am from your lodging, where you will be driven to Flagg Ranch. Once at the ranch, you’ll enjoy a hot breakfast and be outfitted with snowmobile gear, including: boots, one-piece snowsuit, and a helmet.

After breakfast and getting geared up, you will then begin your journey through Yellowstone to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. You’ll travel 65 miles one-way on a groomed trail to the spectacular Yellowstone Falls. The trail follows Yellowstone Lake, and you’ll make stops each way for photos, wildlife viewing, and to learn about the history of the park. This is an all-day adventure that will have you on your snowmobile for about 8 hours. After a full day, you’ll return to your lodging around 6pm-7pm.

Cancellation Policy

There is a 100% cancellation fee when cancellation is given within 48 hours of trip departure. All tours are subject to change due to weather, poor snow conditions and an insufficient number of people.
