Grand Teton Wildlife – Half Day Tour
After pickup from your hotel, the journey winds north from the town of Jackson along the western boundary of the National Elk Refuge to Grand Teton National Park. This tour includes plenty of stops for taking photographs as we travel along the national park roads in search of wildlife. Visit popular areas such as Antelope Flats where you may spot free ranging herds of bison and pronghorn. Then enjoy a ride down the Moose-Wilson Road which is famous for its abundance of colorful flora. The tour stops at the new Moose Visitor Center in Grand Teton National Park, time permitting. The route taken may vary depending on wildlife movement, group interests and road conditions. The Grand Teton National Park Tour is a half day tour allowing you get back for an afternoon of activities.
Wildlife in Jackson Hole
Grand Teton National Park Tour guests are accompanied by an experienced guide, who provides interesting knowledge and facts along the way. Guides are happy to answer any questions and will be directing the tour to locations known to have high populations of wildlife, including bison, elk, moose, pronghorn (aka antelope), fox, coyote, bear, bald eagle, trumpeter swans and even wolves.
Pricing – Grand Teton National Park Tour
The half day tour is priced at $145 per person for the open safari, with an age minimum of 8 years old. Alternatively, the private tour is $765 which includes up to 4 passengers with no age restrictions, with $105 per additional passenger. This tour is approximately 4-5 hours long and is available all year round! We will pick you up from your hotel for the morning or afternoon tour. Please allow your guide 5-10 minutes flexibility before and after your arranged time for other pick-ups. Unless arranged otherwise, you can plan around these pick-up times:
- Teton Village hotels: 7:00am for the morning; 3:00pm for the afternoon
- Town of Jackson hotels: 6:30am for the morning; 3:30pm for the afternoon
- Other Jackson Hole locations: 6:45am for the morning; 3:15pm for the afternoon
There is a 48-hour cancellation time frame for all single day tours and a 7-day cancellation policy for all 2-3 day tours. For groups of 15+ and for multi-day tours of 4 or more days, the cancellation policy is 30 days. Cancellations outside of the time frame will be fully refunded with no penalty. For cancellations made within the specified times of your reservation guests will lose the 50% deposit. Cancellations on the day of reservation or failure to show will be met with a 100% charge. We recommend travel insurance for unforeseen situations which may cause cancellations.
